Deals can be created in the following ways:
¥ Added directly from the Deals Page; Ê(simply click on the add deal link in the left part of the deals page)
¥ Converted from a leads on the Deals page
¥ Converted from a lead or contact on the lead or contact profile page Ê
¥ From a process perspective, if you are prospecting first and qualifying leads, then you will create deals mainly by converting leads into deals once the leads become qualified. Ê
If you are setting up existing deals in process, or existing customer accounts, you can start by creating deals from the deals page. ÊYou can also set up an existing deal in process from the contacts profile page and using the associate to deal feature.
