How do deals fit into my sales process?

New Relationships Deals are the result of taking an unqualified lead and converting it to a more qualified business opportunity. Ê If you started your sales processes with a bunch of unqualified leads, you will use the leads tab to cold call and qualify. ÊOnce the lead has been qualified, you will simply convert the lead into a more formal sales process using Deals. Deals are tracked on your sales pipeline report and have an associated $ value. ÊThey are worth something to your business or organization and a predictor of future revenue. Existing Relationships and Deals in Process Deals can also be used to track existing customer relationships and business opportunities in process. ÊSimply, create a deal for a customer account, add the associated value such as $ amount, deal stage, status and expected close date. ÊIn addition, you can add the associated contact at the customer account. You can also add into PipelineDeals historic data on past deals won or lost.
